Scott LaTulipe
Président
W. Scott LaTulipe, AIA, has been on the TFAA Board of Directors since 2016. He was born in Big Spring, Texas, into a military family. Scott grew up moving around the world—spending nearly a decade in England, which left a lasting impression of respect and admiration for Europe and European culture.
Scott went on to study at Texas A&M University’s College of Architecture, where he also earned a Master’s degree in Construction Management. He has more than 35 years of experience in the design and construction industry, with a focus on healthcare, commercial, and higher education architecture.
In 2008, he founded Milestone Project Management, working with clients across the region and the country. He’s an active member of the American Institute of Architects, the American Society of Healthcare Engineers, the Petroleum Club, and the Texas Citroën Club. In 2013, his firm was named to the Aggie 100, which recognizes the fastest-growing companies led by Texas A&M graduates.
Today, Scott serves as President of the Texan French Alliance for the Arts, which promotes the cultural exchange and artistic connection between Texas and France. His professional journey—and a lifetime of travel—have sparked a real appreciation for the character and charm of French cars, architecture, food, music, and art.
Scott and his wife, Amy—a native Houstonian and fellow Aggie—have been married for almost 30 years. They love to travel, cook with their foodie group, and share their love of both Texas and French culture with friends, old and new.

Mickey Henry
Chairman of the BoardMickey Henry, is currently the Chairman of the Board of TFAA. He is a Houston, Texas businessman with graduate master degrees in both Social Psychology (Southern Methodist University) and Business Administration (University of Texas).Mr. Henry received the Chevalier de L’Ordre Des Arts Et Des Lettres in 2019 in recognition for his twelve years of volunteer work for TFAA serving as either President or Chairman of the TFAA Board of Directors which completed 100’s of art, cultural and educational projects involving French and Texans working together.
Mr. Henry is retired now after a career of business experiences with his own and other companies.His work experience included running a “software as a service” (SaaS) business as an owner, product manager and investor, and founding and selling a pipeline right-of-way aerial video-taping company. He is also currently the Co-Chairman of the Board of Buurst, Inc., a cloud software performance company and has been a Board of Directors Member since the company was founded in 2012.

Yvonamor Palix
Art Programm Director for TFAA & Internation Art Curator, Cultural collector & Visionary AdvisorYvonamor Palix, renowned international art curator and advisor of French-Mexican heritage, has spent over three decades shaping the contemporary art scene through her influential galleries in Paris, Mexico City, and Houston. Her galleries have been featured in world-renowned art fairs such as Art Basel, FIAC, ARCO, and Chicago, serving as springboards for numerous emerging artists. Many of these talents later gained international acclaim, participating in prestigious biennials including Venice, Istanbul, Johannesburg, Santa Fe, and Havana.
Yvonamor’s expertise extends far beyond the gallery walls. Her reputation as a trusted cultural strategist has led her to collaborate with major institutions and diplomatic missions worldwide. Notably, she curated The Flight of the Monarch at the International Art Biennial Houston 2019, an ambitious, thematic exhibition featuring 60 artists from 21 countries and showcasing over 360 works. The three-month event far exceeded expectations in attendance and impact, drawing dignitaries including nine Houston Consul Generals, city officials, and representatives from key cultural nonprofits.
In 2016, Yvonamor was selected as guest curator for the French Pavilion Art Tour in Houston, where she created a unique dialogue between French artists based in Texas and those from across France.
In recognition of her lifelong dedication to the arts, she received the Distinguished Mexican Award in January 2020, the highest honor bestowed by the Mexican government for contributions to culture and the arts.
Through her boutique consultancy, Insitu Art Club, Yvonamor offers bespoke curatorial services to private collectors and corporations. Her programs blend her extensive international network with a passion for discovery, offering immersive art experiences that combine culture, travel, and contemporary insight.
A committed advocate for cultural engagement, Yvonamor actively supports the Houston arts ecosystem by serving on the boards of several
nonprofits, including TFAA, Ars Lyrica, EFGH, Norhill Neighborhood Association, and the Pan American Round Table.

Laura Mardis
Financial DirectorLaura Mardis is a native Houstonian. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Houston in 2012 and has worked as a CPA in Houston public accounting firms since graduating. She has been studying French with L’Alliance Française Houston since 2019 and visits France as often as possible. Laura enjoys French culture immensely and hopes to one day live and work in France.

Orianne Bidaud
Operation ManagerWith a lifelong connection to the arts, through music, dance, and a deep love for visual art, Orianne brings both structure and passion to the TFAA team. Born and raised near Paris, she pursued a career in science and engineering, graduating from a chemical engineering school in Paris.
For over 10 years, she held various roles in the industrial sector within a major French multinational, building strong skills in organization, project coordination, and operations. In 2023, she relocated to Houston for a new family adventure and embraced the opportunity to contribute to the cultural life of her new community.
She joined TFAA in 2024 to support the association’s growth and operations, helping to strengthen its mission of connecting French and Texan arts and culture. Her dual background in engineering and the arts allows her to navigate between creativity and structure : bringing clarity, efficiency, and heartfelt commitment to every project.
