When Art Sings: Celebrating Women, Culture & Connection
TFAA Celebrated a beautiful Art & Healing through songs and dance. Our sister branch spearheaded by Karine Parker brought us the beautiful and magic of women from African communities in Houston. The event was animated by the beautiful voices of the group “Melodies of Healing”.
The women sang the songs of Faith and Love that give them comfort and solace in their new place of residence Houston.
Friends of TFAA and of L’Atelier Gallery were invited to join in this convivial celebration of spirit in an art filled room where the colorful garments of the African singers harmonized beautifully with the paintings on display.
